The winter months can be long and dark, but Yorkshire Life has teamed up with the Swinton Estate, near Masham, to give a New Year boost to a lucky winner and their guest. Enter our competition to win an overnight stay at the opulent Swinton Park, including dinner in the contemporary Terrace Restaurant and Bar and access to the stunning Country Club, gardens and parkland – the perfect way to recharge the batteries.
The winners will stay in one of Swinton Park’s sumptuous rooms – and can even bring their dog if they wish. Hotel guests can borrow wellingtons and warm coats to enable them to explore this spectacular 20,000 acre estate, with miles of bike and walking trails, historic follies and breath-taking views over the North Yorkshire countryside.
Dinner, including a bottle of wine, will be served in the Terrace Restaurant and Bar, which has built an incredible reputation for providing some of the finest Estate-to-plate food in the North of England. Hotel guests often choose to relax afterwards in front of one of Swinton Park’s many open fires – cosy and warm within the historic Castle.
Also included will be access to the Country Club, a fabulously light and airy contemporary space, designed to reflect the surrounding natural environment. The Country Club is home to indoor pools, an outdoor ‘natural pool, hydrotherapy pool and Thermal Suite. If they are feeling brave, they can even try out wild swimming in the dedicated lake – invigorating in the winter months!

Terms and conditions
The prize is valid for two people sharing a double or twin room at the Swinton Park. It must be taken before 28 March 2024. The winners will receive a three course dinner in the Terrace Restaurant and Bar, including a bottle of house wine. The prize also includes three hours’ access to the Country Club during the visit. The prize is not transferrable and no cash alternative is available.
