Join British flower grower and floral designer Tammy Hall on one of her Styling the Seasons floral workshops. Using seasonal English garden flowers and other natural elements foraged from the fields and woodlands, she will teach you how to create her style of wild and untamed wedding flowers that are in harmony with the seasons. Tammy runs four Styling the Seasons workshops each year, each with its own unique seasonal focus.
As the light fades and the temperature changes, we make the most of the last velvety blooms of summer. Their softness contrasts with ample collections of ripe seed pods and jewel coloured berries and fruit, creating indulgent and bountiful arrangements.
Autumn foraging in the woodland and hedgerow provides rich pickings for this workshop and a chance to reconnect with nature, as you create evocative arrangements with an antique quality and allure.
Included in the workshop:
- The flowers – make and take home your flower arrangements and any other stems left over. Custom to your individual requirements.
- The techniques – Learn to walk a garden, hedgerow and woodland and know what to look for; plus how to cut and style these elements. Flower snips included. Custom to your individual requirements.
- The vessel – As vessel such as a vintage urn, ceramic vase or local pottery is included. Custom to your individual requirements.
- The sustenance – Tea and coffee is available throughout the day, as well as a delicious home baked cake and a vegetarian lunch.
