The White Room bridal boutique has been delighted to be involved in the provision of Zara Phillips’ wedding gown. Zara and designer Stewart Parvin were introduced via The White Room and fittings were hosted at their exclusive bridal boutique local to Zara in the Cotswolds town of Minchinhampton, situated just around the corner from Gatcombe Park.

Owners Rachel Partridge and Lesley Higgins have had a strong affinity with Stewart Parvin since he opened their boutique in September 2010. Initially The White Room worked with Zara to understand the look she wanted and then enlisted Stewart’s expertise to transform the ideas into stunning couture that reflects Zara’s contemporary style and flair whilst remaining timelessly chic. Indeed Stewart was so inspired by the project that he created not one but two dresses for the Royal bride, both of which they are sure she will treasure forever.

Zara’s spirit and grace is perfectly captured in a Silk Faille gown with a luxurious Duchess Satin hem and bust, a chevron pleated bodice and bell shaped silhouette. The Maid of Honour Mrs Dolly Maude is wearing a knee length Silk Duchess Satin cocktail dress with cap sleeves and a bell shaped skirt.

Rachel Partridge, Owner at The White Room says “we believe that having strong personal relationships with our designers enables us to offer our brides a bespoke service, ensuring each gown is made--to--measure and looks exactly as the designer originally intended. It is such a privilege to work with Zara and be instrumental in the creation of this unique and stunning dress”

Lesley, Owner at The White Room adds “This is a dream come true. When we opened our doors last July making every bride feel special was our aim. Being chosen by Zara to be so intrinsically involved in her gown is a true reflection that we have achieved our goal.”
