1. Have a vision of what you want your day to be and choose a gown that will work within that vision.

3. Choose a timeless style and don’t wear something way out or so high fashioned it dates quickly; you will only regret it years down the line when you look back on your pictures and videos.

4. Accessorise – carefully chosen accessories are crucial to an outfit and vital for creating an overall look.

5. Savour every moment – Involve family and friends in the process, seek out a gown that is truly exceptional, and visit luxury boutiques whose consultants will turn the occasion into a real event.
