Collette Evans of Picture Perfect Photography was chosen by Rotherham couple, Nicola and Mark Smith, to capture their tenth wedding anniversary celebrations in New York.
Taken on Friday 8th November, the shoot featured iconic sites around the city including Times Square, the New York Public Library and Grand Central Terminal.

Specialising in wedding and fashion photography, Collette says: “I was thrilled to be asked by Nicola and Mark to capture their tenth anniversary in New York. The city holds so many special memories for me having organised my own wedding there in 2014. I have extensive knowledge of locations, venues and suppliers in the area which meant that I could offer them a completely bespoke experience.”
Nicola Smith said: “We wanted to use an authentic photographer, and so we chose Collette because she has an exceptional photographic background and we love her work. We also liked the fact that she planned her own wedding in the same city; knowledge is power as they say.
“Having photos taken in New York was the most pleasurable photographic experience I’ve ever had. Collette is a consummate professional and we also appreciated the team she brought with her on the day to assist and ensure the photoshoot ran smoothly. Even though we were in such a busy city, Collette made us feel so calm and at ease. She helped us pose and had even planned the locations out prior to the day, including which subway stations we needed to use. This ensured we got the most out of the location and time.”
