The Woodyard at Worstead Estate is an exclusive-use venue in the heart of North Norfolk
A former sawmill, Worstead Estate's new wedding venue The Woodyard has been unveiled following restoration to capture and preserve its long history.
Located in the medieval village of Worstead, The Woodyard consists of a thatched barn and surrounding outbuildings, with access to a walled garden, a tranquil lake and far-reaching views.
The Woodyard offers various spaces for couples and their guests to move between. The Mulberry Room can host both your ceremony and reception, while the Summerhouse, Lake Island, West Lawn and West Terrace allow the wedding party to make the most of the scenic outdoors.
Couples can also choose to host their ceremony outside and enjoy photographic opportunities with their guests surrounded by a selection of 17th century plants, including a 400-year-old mulberry tree.
The Thatched Barn is the ideal space for the evening party, featuring a vaulted ceiling, exposed brick walls and striking chandeliers. Enjoy a delectable wedding breakfast in the Thatched Barn, with the option to include local produce from the working farm at Worstead Park – part of the wider 2,000-acre estate, which promotes sustainable and ethical practices.
Couples and their guests are even invited to stay overnight at Worstead Park, with accommodation for 31 across four renovated period buildings. Enjoy the luxuries of a hot tub and log burner at Estate Cottage, the grand elegance of Holly House or the cosy comfort of New Lane Cottage.
With so much on offer, couples are invited to book The Woodyard on an exclusive-use basis across three days, allowing wedding parties to extend the celebrations and ensure an event to remember.
