WIN a honeymoon in the Maldives, worth £15,000

Personal travel management company Winged Boots is offering one lucky couple the chance to win a honeymoon in the Maldives. 

The competition has been launched in line with a trend for couples renewing their honeymoons, having postponed, cancelled or scaled down their plans during the pandemic. Google searches for ‘honeymoon cancelled’ surged by 180%* in the last two years and in September 2020, nearly 80%** of newlyweds reported that they would be cancelling their honeymoons. 

As such, the prize will be awarded to a deserving couple whose post-wedding getaway wasn't quite the luxury holiday they'd hoped for, or if they had to cancel their plans altogether. 

David Ox, managing director of Winged Boots, says: “After a few turbulent years for many married couples looking to make up for past plans, we wanted to offer one couple the opportunity to celebrate their relationship with an unforgettable honeymoon experience in the Maldives."

The winning couple will enjoy 10 nights, full board, at the Raffles Maldives Meradhoo Resort in November 2022, with five nights in a beach villa with a pool and five nights in an overwater villa, also with a private pool. Winged Boots is also including £1,000 spending money for the winners to fully enjoy the resort’s restaurants, bars and excursions.
