It is important to be aware of the different types of wedding venues available, so if you're considering a wedding in Detroit (Michigan), keep on reading and discover what this stunning setting has to offer.

1. The Townsend Hotel

A hotel seems to be an inspired choice, from all the available venues Detroit has to offer. Elegant hotels offer exquisite ballrooms, which can accommodate several hundred guests. A foyer is often made available as well, impressing with beautiful features – imagine crystal chandeliers, marble floors, and wood paneling. If a ballroom seems a bit too much, you can opt for one of the additional rooms – these are more suitable for intimate weddings but an elegant choice for your wedding day.

The Townsend Hotel is the perfect place for elegant wedding ceremonies; it has three different spaces available for your special day: Townsend Ballroom & Foyer, Regency Room and Clancy Room.

3. Ford Piquette Avenue Plant

If you are interested in a non-conformist wedding venue, you should consider an old plant. Such plants have been refurbished, serving now as museums, wedding venues or both. Imagine a former vehicle plant, which is now offered as a wedding venue. You and your guests can enjoy a fantastic day together, setting some time aside to see the historic car collection as well. Can you think of anything greater than that?

The Ford Piquette Plant is a great choice for wedding ceremonies, with guests being offered access to original Ford models. This is the birthplace of the Model T, so holding a wedding here might be an amazing idea for someone who is passionate about historic cars.
