May top wedding venue tip: Planning your wedding reception tables

Planning your wedding reception layout, tables and decorations should be a very exciting time for you both. Whether your wedding venue provides you with tables or not, the decision and order of how you seat your guests will be down to you.

Typically, wedding reception venues offer circular tables, but if you like the idea of longer, banquet style tables where your guests sit either side, there are plenty of companies who may be able to hire these out for you, if this is not an option that your venues provides.

When it comes to decorating your tables, some couples think of a specific theme or colour scheme. Specialist wedding florists are able to provide you with ideas an inspiration when it comes to floral table décor and in terms of planning who sits where, we recommend giving yourselves plenty of time to work on this as it may not be the easiest of tasks on your wedding planning to-do list.
