Wedding Venue Fact File: The Woodman Inn, West Yorkshire

29 Apr 2019

Located in Kirkburton, Huddersfield, The Woodman Inn provides a secluded and tranquil setting for your special day

Set in the centre of a historic hamlet, The Woodman Inn is a beautifully refurbished 18th century country inn that offers superb food, a stunning setting for your photographs, impeccable service and unrivalled attention to every detail.

The Woodman Inn is fully licensed to hold civil ceremonies and, for your special day, you will have exclusive use of the intimate wedding venue, accommodation for your guests and a personal wedding planner, who will work with you to ensure your day is absolutely perfect.

From dressing the room in your favourite shades to finding that special piece of music for your all-important first dance, to adding all those little extras to make the experience magical, the team's attention to detail is second-to-none.

They are able to create your very own personalised wedding package and menu just for you. Designed in partnership with a team of talented chefs, bespoke packages give you the freedom to choose the number of guests attending and a completely personalised menu.

The chefs have hand-picked their suppliers and serve only the finest produce, using classic fresh ingredients with modern techniques, to ensure your wedding breakfast is truly the amazing experience of your dreams.

In total there are 16 beautifully refurbished en-suite rooms and three cosy cottages for overnight accommodation for you and your guests. All have been lovingly and tastefully modernised with comfortable furnishings, each with its own unique twist - but all in-keeping with the historic 18th century country inn heritage.

To make your day truly magical, the venue team work with a number of trusted local suppliers, including florists, photographers, musicians and more, but you are welcome to use your own suppliers.

Already one of the most popular wedding venues in Yorkshire, The Woodman Inn is expanding with the launch of an exquisite, glass marquee wedding venue: Thunderbridge Gardens. Sensitively designed to fully complement the surrounding nature, the venue nestles in among the mature woodland of Thunderbridge, alongside the tranquil Beldon Brook. With its huge expanses of glass, the beautiful space allows the splendour of the countryside to be part of a couple’s special day.
