Licensed for civil ceremonies of up to 40 guests, The Lamb Inn Sandford is a picture perfect place to say “I do”. Accommodating wedding receptions of up to 75, you can hold your entire wedding day at The Lamb Inn which also provides accommodation.


The Lamb Inn is situated in the heart of Devon, close to Exeter, two minutes from Crediton and half an hour from Dartmoor. With many castles, Crediton Farmer’s Market and children’s activities such as Devon Railway Centre and Crealy Adventure Park within close proximity, guests are guaranteed plenty to see and do during their stay.



Wedding packages

Whether you’re looking for a small and intimate wedding or larger celebration, The Lamb Inn has a package to suit you. The Lamb Inn’s 25-person package starts from £1,695 while the 40-person package starts from £2,495. Mid-week weddings are subject to a 10% discount. Packages include the following:

  • The Dowrich room hire
  • Arrival drinks
  • Tablecloths, silverware and napkins
  • Cake stand and knife
  • Three-course wedding breakfast set menu
  • Half a bottle of house wine per guest
  • A glass of bubbles to toast
  • Evening buffet
  • Dancefloor
  • One-night stay in the honeymoon suite with breakfast
  • Accommodation reservation for wedding guests for two nights at a 10% discount
  • Exclusive use of courtyard, sun deck and tap room (evening)
  • Exclusive use of main bar until 5.30pm

Wedding ceremonies can be added for an extra £325 and additional guests for the evening buffet can be added from £6.55 per person.




Delicious food and drink will make your wedding at The Lamb Inn extra special, with vegetarian and vegan options both available.

Choices for your wedding breakfast starter in the Snowdrop Package include wild mushroom and confit garlic soup, sweetcorn fritters with Devon crab and homegrown chilli sauce, or coarse pork and whisky pate with house pickles and brioche.

Main courses include roast Devon ribeye with Yorkshire pudding, Creedy Carver duck breast and dauphinoise, or halibut with creamed leeks and baby spinach.

Desserts are also plentiful; choose from sticky toffee pudding with muscovado toffee sauce and honeycomb ice cream, elderflower panna cotta and poached rhubarb, or pecan nut dark chocolate brownies with Devonshire cream ice cream.

With quality wines to accompany your food, brides and grooms can ensure that their wedding menu is memorable for all the right reasons.




Luxury accommodation awaits you and your wedding guests. Underfloor heating and king size beds are just some of the highlights, with plush upholstery and high quality en-suites to make you feel at home. All rooms come with flat screen TVs, hairdryers and tea and coffee facilities, and newspapers and Wi-Fi are available in public areas.
