Watercolour Woodshed

Watercolour Woodshed offers exciting new designs using fine art techniques. By using a ‘blind contour drawing’ method, studying the object without looking at the paper, the results of each design are always unique. This bold and colourful design was a study of summertime flowers and succulents. Traditional watercolour paintings and venue illustrations can also be designed, and each collection includes everything from save the dates to on-the-day stationery.

Pastel Designs

"When thinking about designs and teaming them with other aspects of the theme I like to think simplicity. With this design, the theme was blush and navy. The envelope had a liner which had a blush pink pattern, this was carried through with the blush seal on the outer of the envelope.

"I love the script font which followed through on the place names and menus, the napkins were blush and the china was white so the stationery complemented the table set-up well. It is also good to mention that navy and cream or white is classic and it complements most colour palettes.

"When thinking about the theme for a wedding I honestly believe the best place to start is with the initial design. From thereon in, it sets the tone of the day. At Pastel Designs I work bespoke with my couples, that means your design is unique to you and not what someone has had previously. I use the highest quality materials from vellum to acrylic if you like to be different, or excellent hand-picked card stock. I design everything from save the dates to thank you cards. I can even cater for hen and stag t-shirts and favours. I aim to keep my prices reasonable because everyone deserves that special something on their special day." Invitations By Hand

"I love creating a design that someone looks at and says: “That’s it”.  Translating someone’s vision for their wedding stationery into something tangible is a wonderful feeling.

"From chatting to the couple, coming up with an original watercolour painting that is completely unique to the couple, means that no two designs are the same and no two days are the same.

"I aim to keep the service affordable so that all my clients can have a touch of luxury, that is as individual as they are. Whether it is pale understated florals, or a bright and zesty palette of watercolour abstracts, a night sky, or a fairy woodland scene, being hand-painted - anything is possible.

"The Barn Collection draws on the lasting trend for naturals, using sturdy Kraft card, hot-pressed watercolour paper, pale florals and wrapped in jute, each piece is painted by hand and so all are slightly different...and such a joy to make." Deborah Hutchinson, owner of Invitations By Hand

Pop Goes The Weasel

“Our customers just love this design. It is available in a variety of colours, including glitter, and can be finished with belly bands and embellishments, or if preferred, just held closed by a magnet. This tri-fold is functional, with a sizeable pocket for adding additional inserts. Some like the pocket to hold just an RSVP and envelope, others include menus, gifts and travel information for their guests. The intricately laser-cut roses can be complemented by a classic or floral insert, designed and personalised by our in-house graphics team.

"Pop Goes The Weasel design and create invitations of exceptional quality, and work with our clients to produce something personal and perfect for their special day.  We believe first impressions count and there is no greater first impression than a laser-cut wedding invitation.” Charlotte Bright, director at Pop Goes The Weasel
