How did you meet?
In a bar - Casa Stafford.

Tell us about the proposal.
Our daughter tied string around my finger and David asked if I'd like to get a real ring.

What was the theme of the day and did you have a colour scheme?
We tried to be modern with a bit of tradition. Our colours were ivory and peach.

When did you know you'd found the dress?
I knew when it brought a tear to my eye.

Tell us about your floral arrangments.
We wanted to keep flowers, so opted for silk. Pure House Cannock did our flowers for us.

Tell us about the details of the day.
David designed the name cards himself and our hotel organised our table arrangements.

How did you feel as you walked down the aisle?
I was beaming with happiness.

What was the most memorable moment?
For me, being pronounced 'man and wife'.

What was the most challenging part of planning this wedding?
Wedding nerves getting in the way.

What was the most important investment for you?
Combining the wedding venue with our honeymoon location.

Tell us about your wedding cake.
It was a two tier cake and was made by the hotel.

If you could go back and change anything, what would it be?
Being nervous before the big day!

Was there anything that you wish you'd known before?
That the day will be perfect - there was no need to worry.

Do you have any advice for couples in the planning stages?
Enjoy every second!
