November's Cornwall Wedmeetup welcomed a host of wedding professionals to Penventon Park Hotel in Redruth for another invaluable opportunity to network with one another.
Organised by Hazel Parsons Wedding and Event Consultancy and Jenny Wren from Jenny Wren Wedding and Event Planning, the bi-annual networking event offers attendees a unique way to build their business through presentations, networking and industry insights.
Commenting on the concept, Hazel Parsons and Jenny Wren said: “The idea behind Cornwall Wedmeetup is for attendees to immerse themselves in their surroundings, relax, have fun, network, socialise, build connections and take away valuable insights from our guest speakers. We have seen many business relationships blossom from the event and attendees take bookings on the day.”
Each event is hosted within a stylised setting and November's event was no exception, featuring a 1920’s American carnival theme complete with wild tipi, aerial circus performances and fortune telling tent.
The event also saw three real brides take to the hot seat on centre stage during the afternoon presentations for 'The Bride is Right', a Q&A with wedding magazine editor, Tina Reading from Ultimate Wedding Magazine. The brides discussed their wedding planning experience from start to finish which gave the audience exclusive access to the customer's journey and the opporunity to ask what could be done better.
The next event, South West Wedmeetup, will take place from February 26-27 at the Deer Park Hotel in Devon. To find out more about exhibiting at this event or to sign up for ticket alerts, visit www.cornwallwedmeetup.com.
