A little piece of paradise that has been making brides' dreams a reality for the past 18 years, Wrenbury Hall has welcomed over 1000 wedding parties. More recently, it has introduced a stunning Laurent-Perrier bar, one of the first of its kind in a private residence in the North of England.
In recent years Wrenbury Hall has noticed a shift in what people want from a wedding venue. The demand for exclusivity and private hire has grown exponentially, making Wrenbury Hall’s ‘exclusive use’ a deciding factor when people are looking for a venue.
The history of Wrenbury goes back as far as the Domesday Book when it was known as ‘Warenberie’. A secret underground passage is reputed to run from a cellar in WrenburyHall to the chancel of Wrenbury Church, a distance of approximately one mile. The beautiful dark oak staircase of Wrenbury Hall is believed to be some 400 years old and gives some idea of the venue’s antiquity and heritage.
Wrenbury Hall is now run by Davinia Mullock, who moved into the estate in 1982 as a child with her parents and two brothers. Davinia and her mother launched the wedding and events business in 1998, painstakingly renovating the building and grounds to the stunning venue that it is today.
From the extensive gardens and stunning Main Hall, a striking backdrop for the perfect civil ceremony, to The Orangery - an airy space filled with natural light and the ability to seat up to 250 guests, Wrenbury Hall is a truly magical venue.
Wrenbury Hall is just 10 minutes from the picturesque market town of Nantwich. It is based just 20 minutes from the M6 and 35 minutes from the M56, boasting easy access to major motorways. Crewe station is also just 20 minutes away, with Chester train station around 30 minutes away.
Every wedding at Wrenbury Hall enjoys exclusive use at no extra cost. It becomes a couple's luxury home for the day as they and their guests enjoy the exclusive use of the hall and its beautiful, secluded grounds.
Breathtaking civil ceremonies can take place in the opulent Great Hall, as well as in the grounds of the estate. A wide range of rooms are available for receptions, accommodating small parties as well as larger parties of up to 250 guests in The Orangery.
Wrenbury Hall can accommodate up to 22 guests in the beautifully appointed rooms situated in the old house, the cottage and the courtyard. The two main bridal suites have recently been renovated to extremely high standards, including a window bath that overlooks the stunning Cheshire views in one room and a luxurious walk-in shower in the other.
A salon has also been installed for brides and guests to be styled prior to the big event. Hair and make-up professionals are available upon request.
Food and drink
Wrenbury Hall can cater for the most intimate of celebrations, to large wedding receptions for up to 250 guests. The on-site chef is available to chat through all requirements and the venue holds regular ‘tasting days’ where brides and grooms-to-be can sample and select a wedding breakfast to suit their needs.
Wrenbury Hall also houses a stunning Laurent-Perrier bar. The space, which covers two rooms and houses a spectacular hand-made bar, also features Laurent-Perrier bucket tables and elegantly branded merchandise throughout.
