The historic and elegant 19th century building of The Villa Country House Hotel is a popular spot with couples for photographs. The once established gentleman's residence adds beauty and uniqueness to any wedding photograph. There is also a Bridal Parlour that offers brides space to get ready with the rest of the bridal party, using the en suite refreshment facilities and Hollywood mirrors.

Facilities and services

Civil ceremonies can be conducted 12 months of the year with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Couples and their guests can also enjoy four-star luxury accommodation, a bar and AA 1 Rosette restaurant that is open to non-residents all year round. The beautiful walled garden with the Octagon, which is licensed between the 1st April and 30th September every year for outdoor civil ceremonies, is just one of the venue's special features. The wonderful Bridal Parlour and the three superb function rooms: The Pavilion, The Hall, and The Piano Lounge, are also stand-out features for a wedding.

Availability and pricing

Open 365 days a year; specific availability/offers on request. The venue offers a bespoke service to ensure your day is how you imagined. Prices start from £39.50 for the late availability package.

Best spot for photographs

The original, lavish front door is always a favourite, as is the kissing gate in the grounds.

Team and catering

The dedicated and knowledgeable wedding co-ordinators will guide you through the planning. They will be on hand from your initial meeting right through to the morning after the big day. The venue is the sole caterer, with the AA 1 Rosette kitchen poised to deliver à la carte standard dishes on your wedding day.

There are 31, four-star bedrooms available on-site. These comprise of standard doubles and twins, suites and family suites. There are also four unique state bedrooms with mezzanine floors and four-poster beds. Further accommodation is also available at The Villa's sister hotel, The Villa Express, where the venue's minibus will be on hand to take guests back after the reception.
