Presenting an astonishing attention to detail, a remarkable level of grandeur and a fairytale wedding venue like no other, The Langham hotel in London is a magical setting for the most memorable day of your life

Nestled amidst the hustle and bustle of London’s busy West End, the five-star Langham Hotel offers a sanctuary of peace, calm and serenity that strikes a chord with couples looking for a central location in which to hold their wedding.

The Victorian architecture and grand exterior entrance are juxtaposed with a classic décor that unites traditional and modern elements with ‘pops’ of gold and pink. The Langham’s signature floral fragrance – common to all hotels within The Langham group - pervades your senses on arrival, instilling comfort and relaxation… a feeling that remains until departure.

Europe’s first ‘Grand Hotel’, The Langham has been operating since 1865 when architect John Nash renovated it from a mansion in to the establishment that we know today. Surviving both World Wars despite destruction to the West Wing in World War II, The Langham has continued its consistently high profile guest-list throughout the centuries – welcoming the likes of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle to Lady Gaga. The hotel underwent refurbishment and a relaunch in 2009, re-establishing the opulence and decadence to which it has become accustomed.

The Langham is situated on Regent’s Street, boasting excellent access to four of London’s most sought-after areas: Marylebone, Fitzrovia, Mayfair and Soho. A short stroll to Oxford Circus or Bond Street tube stations, the hotel provides excellent links to Paddington and Waterloo train stations as well as London Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

A bespoke wedding package awaits you at The Langham in London. With various licensed ceremony rooms to choose from, prospective couples can benefit from an exclusive experience. Guests can enjoy the drinks reception in the crystal lit Portland Foyer, while the listed Grand Ballroom offers the central focus for parties of up to 200. Swathed in elegance, the ballroom features hand-blown Murano glass chandeliers and dramatic renaissance pillars, with access to The Courtyard Garden included in the hire.

Comprising 380 guestrooms, The Langham is perfectly poised to cater to all accommodation needs for both you and your guests. The Bridal Suite promises extra space and glamorous touches which serve to make your stay extra special, while the wedding party is delivered a choice of rooms and suites to meet all personal requests and budgets.

Relax and unwind in the Chuan Spa – a heavenly retreat for couples and their guests to revitalise. Steeped in the values of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the spa houses six private treatment rooms, a relaxation area, vitality pool, herbal steam rooms and a Himalayan salt sauna. A fitness centre and 16-metre swimming pool are also complimentary.

Guests who have opted for Club access can also relax in the tranquil setting of The Langham Club Lounge, where a buffet breakfast, all-day refreshments and premium evening bar service are offered between 6:30am and 10pm.

Food and drink

The overly attentive and affable staff are on hand throughout your stay to ensure a first class service in every aspect. This is exhibited with both precision and professionalism in the multiple dining areas of the hotel. Chic and sophisticated, Roux at The Landau – the mastermind of father and son haute cuisine team, Chez Roux - exudes elegance with each dish intricately and charmingly prepared. Daytime dining should be enjoyed in Palm Court – an enchanting environment in which to indulge in the expertly executed afternoon tea with Wedgwood, headed up by pastry chef and Bake Off Crème de la Crème star Cherish Finden.

Couples deciding on their wedding catering can select from the seasonal wedding menus for tasting sessions ahead of their big day. Artistic finishes and creative flair conjure a work of art in every morsel – from canapés and main courses to desserts and petits fours, all complemented by an extensive wine list.

A vast array of shops and service options lie on your doorstep at The Langham. For last-minute dress shopping, visit the Eliza Jane Howell bridal boutique on Connaught Street which supplies an exquisite selection of statement dresses for every occasion. Unique gifts can be purchased from Penhaligon’s on Regent’s Street – a luxury perfume house designed to discover your signature scent. If fresh air is what you need, then a walk in Regent’s Park – just a stone’s throw away – will invigorate the senses.
