Established in 1999, The Chapel Bar is a bar and private hire venue located near the historic Chapel Market in Islington. Originally built as a public house during the Edwardian period, The Chapel Bar has been lovingly restored to offer guests an elegant and comfortable environment to relax in and enjoy great food and drinks.

Facilities and services
The Chapel Bar has a maximum capacity of 230 split across two floors with a large bar and dancefloor (capacity 150) on the ground floor with beautiful leather couches, marble topped tables, a good sound system for DJs on the dance floor and a covered smoking area while upstairs is a second smaller room (capacity 80) with its own bar and a large Terrace attached. The venue can provide a 5am finish for events and have DJ facilities available in both bars, for your DJ or ours, MP3 play-lists or live music and bands.
The team can offer a range of food options from buffets and three course a la carte options to canapés or finger food on arrival as well as snacks for the evening. You can view a range of our sample menus here. However each booking will receive a bespoke menu catered to your budget and taste. There are a host of special extras available too, from a 40” chocolate fountain to red carpet arrival and each party booker has the option to meet with the management personally to make sure that everything is just right.
