Breathtaking Victorian Gothic architecture, coupled with distinguished period features and sweeping ornate interiors, make the majestic St Pancras Renaissance Hotel an awe-inspiring setting for a wedding.
History
The St Pancras Renaissance Hotel occupies much of the former Midland Grand Hotel which opened in 1873 and was designed by George Gilbert Scott. When the Midland Grand Hotel closed in 1935, the building housed railway offices for British Rail before planning permission was granted in 2004 to redevelop as a hotel. The St Pancras Renaissance Hotel opened in 2011.
Location
Situated on Euston Road in the heart of London’s busy King’s Cross, the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel neighbours St Pancras station where the Eurostar operates and King’s Cross station which houses six underground tube lines. The hotel is also a few minutes walk from Euston station which offers excellent connections to the locations north of London.
Facilities
Romanticism and elegance combine to offer a sophisticated and stylish wedding venue that is aesthetically rich and culturally vibrant. Various spaces offer a host of options for ceremonies, dining and evening celebrations. While the Hansom Hall & Terrace is an exquisite and refined space which can cater to up to 475 guests in a standing reception, The Gallery presents a smaller setting which is equally charming. The elaborate Ladies’ Smoking Room features intricately carved arches and grand French doors and is suited to all stages of the day, accommodating a ceremony of 100 and a banquet of 70.
Team and services
A dedicated and devoted wedding team strive to provide impeccable service from the months of planning through to the big day. A meticulous attention to detail allows the team to showcase their prowess, executing every element of the day with professionalism, passion and precision. Trusted and experienced partners serve to bring the venue to life, in a way befitting of each and every couple.
Food and drink fuses British tradition with innovation and wedding breakfasts, ushers’ lunches and grand banquets can all be arranged. Bespoke wedding packages can be created to suit the taste and budget of the couple.
