Fine dining underwater restaurant Minus Six Meters, located at the luxury Maldivian resort OZEN by Atmosphere, was recently the site of a carefully planned surprise proposal.

The guest, who had been in constant touch with the OZEN team for months prior to the couple’s arrival at the resort, led his partner into the restaurant to a table opposite a panoramic windows with stunning underwater views. Due to his meticulous planning of the special moment, his partner was entirely unaware of what was about to unfold.

As they dined, a diver, along with OZEN’s very own ‘mermaid’, swam down to the window facing the couple’s table, unveiling a banner that asked ‘will you marry me?’
