Trends for your 2015 wedding

Pineapple Moon Events (PME) offer us the inside scoop on trends for your 2015 wedding along with some inspired tips

Whether you are having a cathedral ceremony with formal grand feast or an intimate and informal wedding breakfast, we will advise and guide you through the latest trends.

Colour Trends

For 2015 there is a move towards the cooler and softer side of the colour spectrum. An eclectic mix of understated brights, pale pastels and nature-like neutrals take centre stage as designers draw from daydreams of simpler times.  Remembrances of retro delights, folkloric and floral art, and the magical worlds of tropical landscapes - 2015 Fashion Week Colour Report by Pantone

Making an Entrance

Don’t forget your aisle style and venue entrances when you and the guests arrive at the ceremony and wedding breakfast. Bespoke floral designs and sign posts should reflect your personalities and style.

Best of British

Sown and grown in Great Britain, our hand-tied bouquets, posies, wrist corsages and pedestal displays are bespoke and scent with love. The desire in 2015 for beautiful cut flowers and herbs grown in walled Victorian gardens and nurseries will continue to appeal to brides with arty souls and love of the traditional. Seasonal and organic British blooms suit all budgets. Why not use real petal confetti too?

Venue Decor and Lighting

Transform your wedding guests into another world and create your own ambience and style. Appeal to their senses, create ambient tones with sights and smells and background music. Consider LED and fragranced candles, mirrors and lanterns to provide a mystical glow and suspended lit coloured lanterns to match your colour scheme.

“The lanterns were a beautiful addition to our wedding marquee. We loved them and all our guests commented how great they looked. Vicki, Di and the team were totally charming and worked so hard to make sure the lanterns were arranged in the perfect way to suit and complement the layout of the marquee as well as fit together with the hanging flower baskets.  Thanks also for creating our adorable greenhouse sweet-shop,” said Katerina Vittozzi - Windsor Bride

Suspended Floral Displays

Elegant suspended floral displays are certainly on trend for 2015 and can complement contemporary, vintage or glamorous lighting. This suspended style also creates extra space for personalised table decor and theming.

Finishing Touches

Treat your guests to some unexpected or quintessential indulgences during the day or night - options such as a candy floss stall, fairground games, retro food waggons, ice-cream van or sweetshop  - the (big) kids will love it.
