TravelSupermarket has revealed that 66% of the UK feel financial pressure to save for their honeymoon or mini-moon, and nearly a quarter of Brits are too busy to take time off.
In response to these findings, TravelSupermarket has introduced its 24-hour micro-moon package which allows couples a day of luxury to celebrate the start of their married life.
Complemented by a host of 'micro' add-ons such as a Michelin-starred tasting menu, the micro-moon package includes:
- a luxury hotel room
- champagne on arrival
- miniature wedding cupcakes and more
Emma Morris, expert at TravelSupermarket.com commented: “We know that time and money often runs low after a wedding, and honeymoons can sometimes get delayed or even cancelled. Enter the micro-moon.... This bite-sized version of a traditional honeymoon package is designed to pack in all the fun of a longer honeymoon or mini-moon in just 24 hours.”
To test the world’s first micro-moon experience, TravelSupermarket is looking for newlywed couples; to apply to volunteer for a complimentary tester package, visit travelsupermarket.com.
