Top 5 tips for getting organised for your big day

Weddingsite have teamed up with Boho Weddings to bring you the top tips for organising your big day, from those who have already been there!

1. Think about what you are spending your money on. Dave and I left a lot of things out as we knew it wouldn’t really add value to our day.

2. Don’t sweat the small stuff. It’s easy to get carried away with the details and spend a lot of cash doing what everyone else does. Just do whatever makes you happy – everyone is there to celebrate and have a good time.

3. Let your family and friends help if they offer – I was so touched by how many people wanted to help us. Also be willing to let things go if they aren’t working or you run out of time.

4. Prioritise what is important and what isn’t

5. It can be daunting when you start adding up costs, but it’s easy to save pennies by choosing an alternative. For example, you could choose a sparkling wine instead of a champagne.
