One of the first steps in your skincare routine should be a good cleanser to ensure you remove stubbon make-up, dead skin cells, oil build-up and dirt to prevent clogged pores and acne. 

A cleanser is more moisturising and hydrating than a soap bar of basic facial wash - which can both be harsh on skin, disturb your skin's PH balance and strip the delicate facial skin of natural oils. 

Always wash your face with a cleanser after a workout to prevent breakouts. For oily prone skin wash morning and night, and for dry or sensitive skin, use once a day in the evening.

Apply your cleanser in circular motions for between 20 - 30 seconds until the product lightly lathers and remove with warm water or a warm damp cloth. Follow with your toner, a spot treatment and eye cream if you are tackling these skin issues, and finish with your moisturiser.
