With more couples than ever choosing to holiday in the UK in the wake of the pandemic, the Great British countryside has never been in higher demand.
Recent research by campervan sharing platform PaulCamper has unveiled the most relaxing places for a mini-moon break in the UK by analysing factors such as tourist figures, green space, average rainfall and Covid cases (as of June 2021).
The Cotswolds came out on top, with Cirencester and Bourton-on-the-Water, both in Gloucestershire, scooping first and second place respectively. Cirencester was also found to be the best place for fewest tourists, and Bourton-on-the-Water was revealed as 'least humid'.
The top ten destinations can be found below, and the top 25 is listed on the PaulCamper website.

Steven Hagenah, UK country lead for PaulCamper, says: “Mini-moons are bigger than ever, and after so long stuck indoors and juggling video calls with wedding planners, moving wedding dates and amending guest lists, there’s no better time to hit the open road, and explore the great outdoors.
"These stress-free locations offer the best opportunity to truly unwind, de-stress and enjoy the peace and rejuvenating effects of clean air, green spaces, low traffic and feeling safe.”
