Think beyond bouquets with your wedding flower decoration with these top tips for floral decoration placements
Why confine the beauty of blooms to handheld bouquets and table centres? Creative placement of floral decorations in arches, wrapped around the pole supports of a marquee, along the railings of a banister or floating in a body of water can yield impressive results.

Floral designer Nikki Tibbles, of London's Wild at Heart, gave us her top 5 placements for creative floral decoration at weddings... and they're sure to impress.
1. A Floral Arch
A floral arch can act as a stunning focal point of your wedding ceremony. Here, we wanted to create something bright and colourful to contrast building. This arch displays an indulgent mix of brightly coloured hydrangeas, pink, lilac and pale yellow guelder & garden roses, hot pink dahlias and eucalyptus leaves.
2. Flower Wall
Flower Walls can provide a picturesque backdrop for your big day and are great for photos too! Here is a flourishing wall of dahlias and peonies in a range of colourful shades.
5. Personalised Place Settings
Adding smaller floral details such as a single rose or a knot of herbs tied together with a ribbon are perfect for creating a more personalised and colourful place setting.
3. Garlands and Decorations on Marquees
Flower garlands can be used to provide colour, texture and decoration to a simple framework such as a marquee. The scattered petals and blush pink and white colour scheme add a feminine and romantic touch.
4. Placement Tree
A placement tree can be used as a more creative and visually appealing way of displaying your table plan. For this wedding, details of each person’s seat were hung from a gorgeous oversized blossom tree for a truly memorable feature.
