Ensure your dance floor doesn't go deserted with these 10 tracks to keep your wedding party pumping
Regardless of the size of the venue or the crowd, certain songs always go down a storm at a wedding. Wedding band Tux Fizz share their top 10 guaranteed dance floor fillers:
1. Twist & Shout – The Beatles
The quintessential track that is guaranteed to get every person in the room grooving. Wedding guests just can’t resist this classic.
2. Mr Brightside – The Killers
The Killers have loads of amazing songs but Mr Brightside has got to be best. It’s become a modern anthem and never fails to deliver a packed dance floor.
3. Shut Up and Dance – Walk the Moon
This is a relatively new song to the Tux Fizz set, but it’s quickly become a favourite – we love it and it seems like audiences do as well.
4. Uptown Funk – Bruno Mars
What needs to be said about this song?
5. Billie Jean – Michael Jackson
Again, the track speaks for itself.
6. Adventure of a Lifetime – Coldplay
If it’s good enough to headline Glastonbury, it’s good enough for your wedding. The guitar riff is catchy and distinctive, it really sits nicely in the set and keeps people dancing from start to finish.
7. Counting Stars – OneRepublic
This song has been consistently voted as Tux Fizz audiences' favourite track of the set – and it’s definitely one of our favourites to play.
8. Pencil Full of Lead – Paulo Nutini
How can you not dance to this track? It’s such a fun and upbeat song that brings life into any set.
9. Dancing in the Moonlight – Toploader
This one really gets people of all ages up on their feet and dancing. It’s bit of a classic that you don’t hear so much these days, so gets a lot of points for nostalgic value.
10. Hold Back the River – James Bay
This was a massive song when it broke last year; we play it with a little more kick drum than the track normally has, but it keeps the pace moving and the chorus is so big that you can’t help but sing along and dance.
