Tinkerbelle Bridal Wear in Suffolk celebrates 30th anniversary
04 Feb 2019
Situated in Lowestoft, Tinkerbelle Bridal Wear first opened its doors in January 1989 and is celebrating continued business success
Family-run boutique Tinkerbelle Bridal Wear is celebrating a milestone which marks 30 years in business.
Owned by Pauline and Robert Bennett along with their two daughters, Nicola and Rose, the business evolved from Pauline's skill in designing and making children's clothing. Pauline began receiving requests to design and make bridal gowns and Tinkerbelle Bridal Wear was born.
The original shop was located in Lowestoft's old High Street where it remained for 26 years, before moving to its current premises in South Lowestoft.
Tinkerbelle Bridal Wear even opened additional shops in Ipswich and Norwich, although Robert and Pauline eventually made the decision to focus all their energies on their flagship boutique.
While the business retains its bespoke option for made-to-order gowns, Tinkerbelle Bridal Wear now concentrates on its 100-strong selection of dresses bought in from leading bridalwear designers such as Watters and Ronald Joyce. Gowns can be altered in-house and even customised to ensure every bride receives the dress of their dreams. Bridesmaids' dresses, prom dresses and accessories are also available.
Pauline comments: "We feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to meet so many lovely customers over the years and to have built up such a fantastic reputation. We like to think that we offer something a little bit special to our customers. We have a real passion for what we do with an emphasis on providing an excellent quality of customer service, with a definite touch of magic."
