The Wedding Fairy’s big day breakdown

In 2014 nearly 250,000 couples will say ‘I do’ and nearly 10 million of us will be directly involved with or attend a wedding. And as we now head into the start of the UK wedding planning season, The Wedding Fairy – George Watts, launches his first paperback as a follow-up to his best selling collection of wedding ebooks

The book is being billed as the total-guide to planning a wedding and includes over 125 original DIY wedding solutions and need-to-know essentials on managing that all important big day budget.

George says: “Working out how much cash you have to splash right from the beginning of this process is so important and definitely saves a huge amount of hassle further down the line - especially nowadays when brides want to put together so many of the key elements themselves.”

The book also outlines all the important questions you need to ask suppliers, such as the cake maker or florist to guarantee the very best deal, alongside helping couples with their overall wedding day styling to achieve the ultimate A-list look. Add a wedding planning countdown of what to do and when, plus more than 50 A-list ideas by some of the best in the wedding business, and you have all the ingredients for planning an unforgettable celebration.

The book is currently previewing on Amazon and will be available nationwide in all good bookstores and in ebook format from retailers including Amazon/iBookstore.

“I cannot actually believe I finally have 120 pages of my own work in my hands,” says George. “ It feels unreal – especially as the first batch were diverted to Asda by mistake! I am truly overwhelmed by it all and look forward to sharing my ideas with brides and grooms-to-be across the UK.

The book has an SRP of £6.99 and the digital format is priced at £4.99.

With over 1.5 million hits and counting on YouTube alone, George has been described as an internet sensation by the UK’s leading wedding website and is now recognised as a principal voice on everything linked to planning the big day. George regularly contributes to all the major UK wedding magazines and is a resident expert on TV shows including The Wright Stuff on FIVE, E4’s 50 Greatest Wedding Shockers, The Good Food Channel, TLC America for The Royal Wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton - reaching over 22 million viewers, The Alan Titchmarsh Show for ITV1 and a mix of programmes for Sky’s Wedding TV.

George manages a personal consultancy offering couples one to one planning services for their big day celebrations and is also the founder of National Wedding Day. This annual event gives couples globally a chance to rejoice and re-live the most sensational day of their lives, whilst raising money for their favourite charity.

More recently George has been guest writing for Pippa Middleton’s The Party Times and talking DIY Weddings alongside leading fashion bible
