The search conducted by hen and stag experts, Red7, is asking couples how their other half proposed to discover Britain’s Best Proposal.
In response to the elaborate and also sentimental celebrity engagements shared on social media, Red7 wants to discover that, when love is in the air, the British public can be just as extra as any A-lister.
Sarah Chapman, head of hen and stag at Red7, said: “We’re looking for couples that are meant to be together, whose proposal really showed their personalities and the depth of their love.
“From our 22 years of planning hen and stag experiences, we know that each love story is unique. Some are wild and adventurous, some are traditional and classic, and some are alternative and unusual.
“We want to celebrate the stories that show us what love is supposed to look like. Now, it’s up to the British public to tell us whether that’s a giant grand gesture with all the trimmings or your loved one understanding when plans go completely wrong. We can’t wait to read the nominations.”
From Kanye West's extravagant proposal to Kim Kardashian on a floodlit baseball park with a 50-piece orchestra, to the more humble engagement of David Burtka and Neil Patrick Harris on the very street where they first met - celebrity proposals are just as varied as those of the Great British publish.
