The Romance of the Vineyard

Sarah Cross at Hambledon Vineyard explains the aims behind this beautiful photo-shoot in Hampshire
Hambledon Vineyard provides the ultimate venue for romance. Amongst the vines you are hidden from the hectic world around you. This magical romance, along with the exciting emerging Hambledon Vineyard brand, provided the inspiration behind the photo-shoot that took place.
The beautiful Gemma Olliff, whose hair and make-up was done by Natasha Wiggins, suited the two dresses, that were very kindly supplied by Zoe Parfitt from The White House in Alresford, beautifully. The first dress, Edie by Charlotte Casadejus very much fits with the romance of the vines, the idyllic country location and the gentleness of the surrounding area. The second dress, Rosie by Astral Sundholm, teamed with the beautiful Catherine shoes by Rachel Simpson, reflects the luxury brand that is being built at Hambledon Vineyard.
I invited a number of highly talented and creative, local wedding suppliers to work alongside me on this shoot. I very much wanted to steer away from pinks and reds on this occasion, and work much more with the surrounding area and branding for the venue; July is always a great time of year for the blues throughout any quintessentially English cottage garden. We also incorporated details from the vineyard wherever we could, using Hambledon wine corks and barrels as props.
