The National Wedding Show autumn dates are now underway and London Olympia saw the first event on September 22-24, bringing with it a wealth of wedding planning inspiration. Thousands of brides-to-be, flanked by their friends and family, attended the show which offered ideas aplenty and an enjoyable day out.

From wedding fashion to photography and floristry to finishing touches, The National Wedding Show is poised to offer all the wedding essentials. The event at London Olympia offered a jam-packed itinerary for its visitors, which included:

  • Four catwalk shows a day

Featuring a host of bridalwear, menswear and bridesmaid dress suppliers, the catwalk show was an unmissable part of the event. Suppliers included: 31W Bridal, Allure Bridals, Ben Sherman, Berketex Bride, David's Bridal, Moss Bros, Nigel Rayment, Rainbow Club, Riki Dalal, Slaters, Truly Bridal of Surrey, and Young's Hire.


  • Goody bags and bridal magazines for VIP ticket holders

VIP ticketholders were gifted a host of goodies to take home and were also guaranteed a seat at one of the catwalk shows. Be sure to book your VIP ticket for the upcoming shows.


  • Looks by Lancôme

As the official catwalk sponsor, Lancôme created all of the make-up looks at three of the catwalk shows. Make-up masterclasses at the Lancôme Pop-Up stand and on the Style Stage were available on each day of the event.


  • Hundreds of dresses to try on

Brides-to-be were thrilled to find that they could try on wedding dresses with no appointment necessary. They were even able to buy directly from suppliers on the day.


  • Top tips and advice from wedding experts

DIY wedding workshops, bridal make-up tips, health and wellness expertise, and style advice were all on offer at the show from industry gurus in an extensive seminar programme.


While this was just a taster of what visitors to The National Wedding Show at London Olympia enjoyed, brides-to-be are welcomed to visit the next impending dates to enjoy all this and more:

For ExCel London attendees, LOLA Make-Up is the official catwalk make-up partner at the show and will be creating all of the model looks. The LOLA Make-Up team will also be running masterclasses from their stand at the show so you can pick up tips to try at home.

Manchester Central will be hosting the Entertainment Stage and the Floral Inspiration Lab.
