Following a gruelling judging process which included mystery visits, The Italian Villa has won Gold Awards for 'Business Tourism & Venue' and 'Access & Inclusivity' at the 2018 Dorset Tourism Awards.
Hosted by BBC Radio Solent Breakfast DJ, Debra Stephenson, the awards were held on the 8th November at The Lighthouse in Poole with more than 270 guests in attendance.
Celebrating the very best tourism businesses from across Dorset, The Italian Villa was recognised as both a tourist attraction and wedding venue.
The judges cited the continuous improvements made to the venue and the sheer number of people The Italian Villa brings into the county as reasons for the double win.
Tony Beales, managing director of The Italian Villa, said: "We are genuinely thrilled to have won these two Gold Awards. This has been a fantastic year for us, our team has worked incredibly hard and to be handed these awards is absolutely overwhelming. However, I believe it is a testament to the incredible team we have at The Italian Villa and I would like to thank everyone who has worked so hard to made winning these awards possible.”
