The Bridal Boot Sale
Calling all brides, past present and future, The Bridal Boot Sale is coming to a town near you – Hampshire on May 18 and Wiltshire on June 8
Currently operating regular events across Hampshire and Wiltshire, the concept of the Bridal Boot Sale is really simple. Newlyweds pitch up to sell on their pre-loved wedding items (because really, what are you going to do with 100 jam jars now you’re married?) and brides-to-be come along on the day to buy items to style their wedding. As well as newlyweds, there are also carefully selected local businesses in attendance, not only with some great finishing touches to take away but also with live DIY demonstrations, alternative ideas on anything from food to entertainment and top tips on how to craft your own unique wedding.
The Hampshire Bridal Boot Sale is designed to be as unlike a traditional wedding fair as possible, making it exciting and interactive, with heaps of inspiration and all about picking up things on the day, from pre-loved decorations to vintage goodies and even the odd frock or two.
Showcasing some of the most unique independent venues across the South is also key to the Bridal Boot Sale – a past venue, Milner Hall in Winchester, is actually a former church that is now used to host wedding receptions, while beautiful Georgian villa Hill Place, offers entirely bespoke wedding packages for even the most creative of couples.
2014 will also see Bridal Boot Sales extend in to more counties including Dorset and Essex. First up though the team will open the doors to beautiful Penton Park in Penton Mewsey, North Hampshire on 18th May followed by The Manor Barn in Winterbourne Stoke near Salisbury, Wiltshire on Sunday 8th June.
The Hampshire Bridal Boot Sale is curated by events and communication agency What Peggy Did Next, founded by Sarah Bunting, Helen Wade and Karen Wyatt. With extensive careers in event management, publishing, PR and marketing, the trio are passionate about creating unique experiences for their discerning clients. As if this wasn’t enough, they also recently launched ‘From Peggy With Love’ - hen party kits including everything from bunting to invitations and badges, now available in their Etsy store.
