A recent survey has revealed that 82% of best men expect a gift for their input on the groom's wedding, but what do you get for your right-hand man?
Gifting website Love Up has revealed the results of a survey investigating the best man's opinions on wedding gifts.
The most popular gift idea was alcohol (37%), followed by a personalised gift (22%) and football tickets (16%). Other gift options included festival tickets, favoured by those under 25, and cufflinks, which were more popular with over 40s.
When it comes to cost, 56% said between £40-£60 was the amount they expected to be spent on a best man gift, while 4% thought more than £100 was necessary.
Only 51% of respondents thought grooms should buy a gift for their other ushers, with gifts expected to cost between £20-£40 and alcohol once again named as the gift of choice.
The best men surveyed were also asked what aspect of the wedding frightened them the most. The best man speech was the most feared task, claiming 88% of the vote - followed by arranging the stag do (7%).
