A = Arms

Wedding Day Arms Workout--It's most important to work your arms because they'll definitely be seen. Push-ups work wonders for those pesky underarm flabby areas by your bra line which can sneak up on you and be shown especially in strapless gowns....start with knee push ups and work your way up to real push ups.

B = Bottom

Many salon treatments, which usually involve several sessions, claim that you will lose inches and help tone muscles, smooth cellulite, fade stretch-marks or fight fatty deposits. A good body wrap will help put you in the right direction. Use a loofah or body brush on dry skin before you get into the bath or shower, helps promote a healthy circulation and speeds the breakdown of lumpy areas.

C = Cuticles

If your cuticles are in good condition, your nails usually will be too. If they are dry and flaky, don't even think about trying to cut them off. You must never cut away at the cuticle. Use cotton wool and warm water on the end of a cuticle stick, gently rub around the edges to push back and remove any dead cuticle. You can revive dry cuticles by applying plenty of hand cream which will leave hands feeling soft.

D = Dry Lips

Even the most luxurious lip gloss can't salvage chapped lips. Time to think beyond the balm and treat lips to the same TLC the rest of your face enjoys. Use your richest eye cream on your lips! Fortunately, it usually comes in small jars, so it's easy to stash in your bag. Note: Be sure it's a ‘hydrating’ formula, not ‘firming’.

E = Eyebrows

I am a big believer in a strong, shapely brow, And a good brow is not just something brunettes or those with thick unruly brows need to consider. Fair haired beauties need to make sure their eyebrows look defined too. However if you have over-plucked over the years and struggle to find definition then I would highly recommend HD Brows. Eyebrows define your entire face and should be treated as you would your hair.

F = False Lashes

False eyelashes are a great option for brides who want to add a little va va voom to their lashes on their big day but don’t want to commit to 3-4 weeks and the expense of eyelash extensions. With false eyelashes, there’s no need to worry about losing/damaging your precious natural lashes as they attach to your eyelid as opposed to your individual lashes. A good glue is the key to an all day fix.

G = Gown

Finding your wedding gown should be one of the most exciting parts about your wedding planning and you will have a hundreds of stunning wedding dresses to choose from if you delve into this wedding dress section. Wedding dress designers are all different and have their own unique and very beautiful style.

H = Hair

From up to a year in advance you should start to look at the different wedding hair styles that may work with your wedding dress and style. From changing the colour of your hair, to growing it long in order to wear it up for your wedding you will need to start planning well in advance. Having a wedding hair trial a month or two before your big day with a professional wedding hair stylist will ensure that you are happy with your final wedding look.

I = Illumination

You take care of your skin every day but sometimes, what you really want is an instant radiance boost. Try an illuminating radiance cream, infused with multi-vitamins, skin-loving ingredients and light reflecting minerals. The cream captures the light for immediate natural radiant looking skin. We would still advise that you choose a product that's protects your skin from UVA and UVB.

J = Jewellery

Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and often years are spent planning the perfect day. Every detail is meticulously chosen and one of the biggest details when it comes to the bride’s outfit is the wedding jewellery. The right jewellery should complement your wedding dress perfectly and add the finishing touches to your outfit.

K = Kohl

Kohl Pencils are especially suited to the sensitive and thin skin of the eye contour and the inside of the eyelid, the kohl pencil gives depth and intensity to the eyes. Its particularly gentle formula is tolerated even by the most sensitive eyes. Its soft and smooth texture blends effortlessly like an eye-shadow and keeps the skin around the eyes hydrated. You don't need to use black to get a natural smokey eye look, try brown too -  it does the same job.

L = Lips

Your lips will get a workout (everyone wants to kiss the bride), so start with a lipstick that's meant to last, but carry gloss or a topcoat in your purse for touch-ups. But remember, you aren't often in a dress this fancy, so it's okay to dial up the drama with a deeper hue. If you're the natural type, try a neutral brown-pink, if you love glamour, go with a mulberry or true red.

M = Moisturising

For daytime moisturizing, think layering. Use an antioxidant serum under a face cream, topped off with a sunblock. To stave off flaking, consider light exfoliation once a week. Moisturizing without exfoliating first can result in breakouts and dull skin. The correct moisturiser will give a full natural glow, perfect fro your wedding day.

N = Nutrition

Get a general estimate of how many calories a day you’re burning, then build your meal plans around an equal amount of calories (to maintain) or slightly less calories (to lose). A handy free tool I found to be useful can be found at dailyplate.com. Here you can enter personal stats like height, weight, and weight-loss goals, along with the various types of physical activity you do each day (not only at the gym, but also activities like cooking, cleaning, walking up stairs – they all count). The tool will then calculate the number of calories you should eat based on your goals.

O = Omega 3

If you're experiencing dry, scaly skin, you might just need to add a few more servings of fish into your diet. Omega-3 fatty acids - and particularly eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) -- are essential for healthy skin and hair. EPA helps regulate oil production in your skin. Having plenty of this essential fatty acid in your body keeps your skin hydrated and prevents it from drying and flaking.

P = Pedicure

All eyes are on your hands during the wedding, but people will inevitably notice your feet if you wear open-toed shoes. Besides, his eyes will be seeing your tootsies.  Get your bridal pedicure the day before, not the day of, your wedding. That way, it'll still look fresh, but you're less likely to ruin the finish with day-of activity. And be sure to have a full foot scrub finishing off with a massage and enjoy the full benefit of being a bride.

Q = Quench

Unlock the secret to heavenly hydrated locks with a moisture quench ahampoo. I highly recommend Tresemme Luxurious Moisture Shampoo. Formulated with vitamin E, this gentle formula restores vibrancy and softness.  I use this on my clients on a daily basis in my salon.

R = Routine

Skin Routine - use moisturizers in the morning or before any sort of make-up routine. Scrubs should only be used 2-3 times a week or you will dry out your skin. Same for the mask and don't leave it on too long. Any kind of spot treatment is best to be applied at night before bed and use a toner after a gentle face cleanser.

S = Smoothing

If you want smooth skin for as long as possible, there are things you can do now and throughout your life to make it happen. The key to remember is that making good health choices about your skin can keep it looking younger for a longer amount of time. That means not just being careful about your exposure to the elements, but also being careful about what you do to your body as a whole. Exfoliation is the key.

T = Tan

Dark tans do not look good with beautiful white wedding dresses, and can look very odd. For weddings, lighter is better.  Make sure you ask the spray tanning technician to give you a colour that is a ‘golden glow’ or ‘golden hue’.  And all your guests will be making comments on how radiant and healthy you look, not how great the fake tan is.

U = Ultra Violet

Overexposure to UV has been linked to the following negative health effects such as sunburn, premature skin ageing, skin cancer, eye problems, and weakening of the immune system. It is important to protect yourself when exposed to either natural or artificial UV. Avoid using sunbeds. When outdoors, find shade, cover up and wear sunscreen, especially between 11am and 4pm.

V = Vintage

If you wanted a vintage bridal service I would recommend to research and find a style for hair and make-up to suit your chosen gown and enhance your features, whether you are looking for something vintage inspired, an authentic vintage look or a more contemporary or classic style.

W = Wrinkles

Before deciding which make-up foundation hides wrinkles the best, you must put your best face forward by properly preparing your skin through cleansing, exfoliating, and moisturizing. If your skin is dehydrated or dry, wrinkles will be enhanced. Once you've got your skin prepped, it's time to choose a foundation that will help disguise wrinkles.

X = Xfoliation

Exfoliation removes dead skin cells, leaving your skin radiant and smooth. Naturally for your wedding you just want soft, clean skin, exfoliating your skin from head to toe will get you glowing. Exfoliating once or twice a week is usually enough to achieve silky skin; however, women with oily skin should exfoliate more often than those with dry skin.  Exfoliation is drying to the skin, so you must keep your skin hydrated.

Y = Youthful

It takes simple steps to erase signs of aging and keep youthful skin. From what you eat to when you wash your face, small changes can make a big difference. Such as washing your face of a night, using a high SPF moisturiser on a daily basis, eating omega 3's and exercising regularly.

Z = Zing

The most common translation for zing is essence, and for your wedding day essence is important. Everyone's scent is different so be sure to test lots of different perfumes to suit you. I would recommend collecting samples plenty of time before the big day and be sure it’s the right scent for you.
