Tewkesbury Park has completed the second phase of its extensive two-year renovation.
Costing £4 million, the Gloucestershire wedding venue has added nine luxury historic suites, two meeting rooms, an Orangery and a Cocktail Lounge.
The bedrooms, which are aptly named after the royalty and nobility who fought it in the 1471 Battle of Tewkesbury, convey a rich countryside ambience with warm and soft rustic tones and contemporary fixtures and fittings. While the rooms were completed by ADS-Design, the Orangery, Cocktail Lounge and meeting rooms were transformed by celebrated interior designer, Jane Clayton & Company.
This follows the first phase of renovation which saw 85 guestrooms receive a complete refurbishment. Work to the main foyer, reception and two new spa rooms is scheduled for completion in late June.
Patrick Jones, general manager of Tewkesbury Park, said: “We are thrilled with the results so far, the hotel is undergoing a complete renaissance and deserves to be brought back to the magnificent property it once was."
