Celebrating its foray into weddings, Harvest House in Felixstowe welcomed the deputy mayor councillor Mark Jepson and his wife Julie Jepson (pictured centre) alongside local residents and businesses to the grand opening.
Guests were invited to wander the building while enjoying drinks and canapés and hearing more about the new wedding packages available to couples marrying from May 2020.
The event served to demonstrate how the venue could be dressed for a wedding, with an ivory aisle carpet provided by Archway Carpets, sound system from Eclipse Sound and Light and a wedding cake by Amazing Cakes by Jean. A display of wedding outfits, including elegant wedding dresses from Ashton Jayne Bridal and suits from Coes of Felixtowe complemented the set-up.
Built in 1903, Harvest House is a Grade II listed building which offers a variety of historical spaces for a wedding, including Palm Court for the ceremony, the Grand Dining Hall for the wedding breakfast and Felixtowe Lawn Tennis Club for the evening party.
The management team are passionate about customer service and plan to work closely with local businesses to deliver an all-encompassing wedding experience for couples. Wine Boutique, Bushfire Photography, Jamie Lee Smith Catering and Let's Party are just some of the businesses the venue is partnering with.
