It was a happy New Year for singer Shania Twain, as she rang in 2011 by becoming Mrs Frédéric Thiébaud. The couple wed at sunset on January 1, before 40 close friends and family at sunset on the beach in Rincon, Puerto Rico.
Oscar-winner Reese Witherspoon and her agent Jim Toth married in a quiet ceremony on her luxury Libbey Ranch estate in California. Guests - including Renee Zellweger and Sean Penn - were treated to a pre-wedding cocktail hour.
Lily Allen married Sam Cooper at the village church in Cranham, Gloucestershire, close to their Cotswolds home. And not only was the singer celebrating becoming Mrs Cooper but her new husband announced she was also expecting a baby.
