StagWeb and GoHen announce new hen and stag party concept

27 Jul 2017

Do you trust your other half to plan the perfect hen/stag weekend? Brides and grooms are now able to do exactly that

Akin to the hit TV show Don’t Tell the Bride, in which a groom is given the challenge of planning his wedding without the help of his wife-to-be, stag and hen party providers StagWeb.co.uk and GoHen.com have come up with a brand new concept: ‘Don’t Tell the Hen’ and ‘Don’t Tell the Stag’ parties.

The parties will put the respective other halves firmly in control of every aspect of the weekend, including the choice of destination, hotel, activities, nightlife, and eateries. With more than 80 destinations across the UK, Europe and beyond, StagWeb.co.uk and GoHen.com have a range of activities to choose from, including hen parties on the Orient Express and Bear Grylls' Stag Survivors.

By relying on the person who knows them best, brides and grooms can rest assured that their send-off will be true to their own personality and character, rather than that of their stags or hens.

Groupia's director of sales, Matt Lay, said: "We've been planning pre-wedding weekends since 2002 and wanted to shake things up a little bit. While we know many brides and grooms have a fantastic weekend, it's not always what they'd choose. So now we're giving control to their partner which could lessen some of the more rowdy hen and stag activities and create unforgettable memories... with slightly less hangovers."
