Soughton Hall, which borders Cheshire, scooped the title at The Welsh National Wedding Awards
Built in 1714, the historical Soughton Hall is celebrating its second consecutive year of winning both the regional and national titles.
Soughton Hall was named Best Wedding Venue in North Wales at The Welsh National Wedding Awards, before clinching the national category of Best Wedding Venue in Wales.
Situated in Northop, Flintshire, Soughton Hall is a Grade II listed venue owned by Elle R Leisure which acquired it over three and a half years ago and has spent almost half a million pounds on its renovation.
The venue can accommodate weddings of up to 200 guests. With 90 weddings hosted so far this year, 2020 looks set for an even more successful year with 100 weddings already booked.
General manager of Soughton Hall, Russell Bridge (pictured above), says: “We work so hard at Soughton Hall to ensure every single wedding day here is special and I think it is this consistency that has seen us win the award for the second year running."
“It feels all the more satisfying because the awards are voted on by brides and their guests," continues Russell. "For us, that’s the most important endorsement we could ever have."
