Sopwell House in Hertfordshire has undergone a refurbishment to offer 16 Mews Suites, which all boast utmost tranquillity and complete exclusivity.
Complementing the 18th century Georgian manor house and surrounding a stunning botanical garden designed by Chelsea Flower Show gold meddalist, Ann Marie-Powell, The Mews feature their own botanically inspired name – from Juneberry and Foxglove, to Hawthorne and Bluebell.
An infinity edged hydrotherapy pool with ceramic detailing offers a stunning centrepiece in the gardens, which also host private cortyards with sunken spa baths and seating areas. An oasis of calm, newlyweds and their wedding guests will delight in the peaceful accommodation Sopwell House has to offer.
Designed by Sparcstudio, the suites themselves comprise wooden flooring, farmhouse doors and cosy window seats to deliver a rustic and homely feel. Eclectic artwork hangs in the bedroom and living areas which also houses a sleek gas fireplace, while bathrooms feature under-floor heating and ESPA toiletries.
Director of The Mews and Sopwell House, Rafi Bejerano says: “The Mews at Sopwell House offers a fantastic concept and unique hotel experience which is unusual for the UK and surprisingly close to London, whilst providing guests with complete seclusion and privacy away from the outside world.”
