When initially visiting venues try to do so during the month (or as close to it as possible) you want to get married. This will give you an idea of what the grounds, flowers etc will look like on your day.

What is the room capacity? Before looking for a venue it is important to establish your guest list and then look for venues that can cater for your number of guests. Always bare in mind not all of your guests will be able to make it.
