Award-winning weddings, events and venues specialist, Dine, has been asked to exclusively plan and run the hospitality and events at the UK’s largest stately home, Wentworth Woodhouse.

With Europe’s longest country house façade, the magnificent building, which is currently home to architect, Clifford Newbold and his family, has gone down in history for its impressive exterior. Now for the first time, this Grade I listed home will formally open its doors for weddings and events. Its luxurious interior and stunning grounds which are nestled close to the village of Wentworth in South Yorkshire will offer a huge range of options to those seeking to hold corporate and private events alike.

Boasting 365 impressive rooms including a famous Marble Saloon originally built in 1780, Wentworth Woodhouse presents an exceptional venue for a fairytale wedding or unique event organised to perfection by Dine. Experts in a range of events, hospitality and consultancy services, Dine has been able to add the venue to its remarkable portfolio of destinations. With its extensive hospitality offering, day visitors to the home will also enjoy the same high standards as guests at private evening events.

The newest addition to its portfolio, Wentworth Woodhouse is now open for bookings. The options even extend to hosting spectacular events amongst the luxurious walls of the Marble Saloon which was designed by Thomas Watson-Wentworth, the 1st Marquess of Rockingham.

Organising weddings and events from concept to completion, the Dine Group now comprises four brands; Dine Hospitality, Dine Events, Dine at Allerton and Dine at The Mansion. The award winning company also exclusively manages private and corporate events at exclusive venues including, Nostell Priory and Sarah Beeny’s renovated manor, Rise Hall.

Daniel Gill, Managing Director of Dine, said: ‘We are delighted to have been selected as Wentworth Woodhouse’s dedicated events team; it is a truly breathtaking venue steeped in history and character. This agreement to launch and manage Wentworth’s events demonstrates a real faith in Dine and the unique experiences we can provide our clients.

‘For the Newbold family to open their doors exclusively to those planning unique events is a milestone in the house’s history and we look forward to working closely with them on all upcoming projects. From charity events and local meets to larger events such as product launches, balls and, of course, weddings – the house and grounds at Wentworth Woodhouse offer beautiful options to suit the needs of anyone planning a special event.
