Sassa's Cakes set to open Norfolk workshop and showroom
11 Apr 2018
Norfolk-based business Sassa's Cakes has announced the imminent launch of its cake workshop and showroom
Founded by Debbie Cowley in 2010, Sassa's Cakes is celebrating a milestone this year as the company gets set to open its own workshop and showroom in Pulham Market, Norfolk.
Sassa's Cakes has gone from strength to strength, beginning originally as a hobby of Debbie's before flourishing into the success story it is known as today. Debbie's husband, Giles, and daughter, Kayleigh, are now on board with the business which has grown to offer a whole range of confections including celebration cakes, cupcakes, and cake pops.
The showroom and workshop will be a dream come true for Debbie and who has been operating Sassa's Cakes from her home since it started.
Having applied for the New Anglia Business Growth Programme - Small Grant Scheme, which is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund, Sassa's Cakes was awarded the grant by Suffolk County Council to help buy equipment for the premises.
Debbie said: "We are extremely happy to be opening our cake workshop and showroom, finally taking the business out of our home and into an environment more fitting to the professional service we provide. We still have a couple of weeks of 'fitting' still to do, but we can't wait to see it all finished."
The showroom will feature a boutique theme with a touch of vintage character and Victoriana charm, a theme that has become synonymous with the brand at local wedding shows and events. Debbie has also pledged to donate £1 for every wedding cake made by Sassa's Cakes to the East Anglian Air Ambulance and there will also be a collection box in the showroom.
An open day will be held on Sunday, 13th May to celebrate the launch, where there will be cake samples to taste and glasses of bubbly to toast the occasion. Those looking to make a wedding booking for 2018 will also benefit from an exclusive offer running on the day. For more information, email email@example.com or visit www.sassascakes.co.uk.
