On Monday 12th October, Winchester-based bridal boutique Sass & Grace were awarded the coveted UK’s ‘Best Bridal Retailer’ category at the prestigious British Wedding Awards 2020. The ceremony, which was delayed from earlier in the year due to Covid-19, took place online.

Now in its twelfth year, The British Wedding Awards are one of the most respected in the industry and were created to champion excellence, celebrating all aspects of the wedding day. The awards are unique in the industry as they are exclusively voted for by the brides themselves.

Sass and Grace opened in rural Hampshire in January 2016, a new venture dreamt up by Sam Walsh who left a busy career in the corporate world to pursue her passion, to create the ultimate bridal boutique. Driven by a desire to ensure the bride has the best possible experience throughout her bridal journey, customer satisfaction is very much at the heart of the business.

On winning the British Wedding Award, Sam Walsh said: "We are beyond thrilled to retain our crown of Best Bridal Retailer in the UK! We would like to thank all of our amazing brides who took the time to vote for us, it’s thanks to them that we are winners."

Since opening, Sass and Grace has had an incredible rise to success including winning ‘Best British Newcomer’ award at the 2018 British Wedding Awards, ‘Best Bridal Retailer’ in the 2019 British Wedding Awards and ‘Best Wedding Attire Supplier’ at the Hampshire Wedding Awards.
