Set the stage for a wedding to be remembered with these wedding themes inspired by pop culture

A wedding theme can be based on many things; from a job or hobby, to a significant place or common interest as a couple. While providing a way to make your wedding memorable, your wedding theme shouldn't solely be chosen to impress your guests. It should be a reflection of you and your partner, and serve to put a personal stamp on your day.

When considering your wedding theme, think about how it can be translated into all the details of the day. Incorporating your theme can be one of the most fun parts of wedding planning and allows you the opportunity to get creative with your wedding suppliers.

For a wedding theme that all your guests will instantly recognise, take a look at these ten real weddings that were inspired by pop culture.

Light sabres, a Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker cake topper and personalised Star Wars graphics also highlighted the theme. READ MORE

Every detail was carefully considered for Mary-Kate Devaux and Paul Doyle's Harry Potter-themed wedding. The centrepieces were also a collection of items reminiscent of the well-known wizarding world. READ MORE.
