The re-launch for the theatrical lingerie brand is back with vintage lockdown luxury bridal lingerie
Award winning lingerie brand Raine & Bea, is re-launching with ‘The Sulking Parlour’ - a brand new collection inspired by lockdown.
Known for its luxe fabrics and bespoke designs, Raine & Bea - which was established back in 2013 -is owned by founder and chief designer Jenna Barnes, whose stylish, art deco-homage lingerie has made it a favourite with celebrities including singer Fleur East.
The unusually-named new collection features the label’s trademark boudoir looks, with an upmarket edge. Stand-out pieces include the ‘It’s Fine’ ostrich feather suspender belt, the ‘Strop’ show-stopping underwired silk and gold textured steel boned dress, and the ‘In A Huff’ quilted stitched bra and steel boned girdle in champagne pink.
Fabrics feature stretch silk satin, silk duchesse satin, power-net, hand stitched quilted duchesse satin, cotton mixed textured fabrics and ostrich feathers to create a sense of sensual luxury.
“The collection name is derived from the word ‘boudoir’”, says Jenna. “But it also reflects the ongoing lockdowns and restrictions we’re all living with. Earlier this year, I was moping around – so I decided to use the time at home to get creative and upstage my previous work with a new collection.”
