There is a choice of locations for the ceremony, both inside and out, although a stunning gazebo compliments the fine Victorian Ironwork on the verandas of Quex House - to provide a focal point for wedding ceremonies
‘The Roberts Room’, a regency-style dressing room in Quex House, offers the bride and her attendants the ideal setting in which to prepare for the ceremony.
Drinks receptions can be held in the gardens, on the terrace or the internationally renowned Powell-Cotton museum with its spectacular exotic animal dioramas.
The wedding breakfast, using local produce, much of it from the estate’s own farms, can be taken in the Hannah Dining Suite or a marquee in the grounds.
No wedding is complete without a peal of bells. There is not a venue in the country that has anything to rival Quex’s historic Waterloo Tower, house a ring of 12 bells in Kent – more than Canterbury Cathedral at when it was built in 1819. Standing at over 130 feet in height - it provides the finishing touch to the perfect wedding.
