The Bridal Buyer Awards took place on September 9 at the Harrogate Convention Centre, North Yorkshire.
Anna Hare, owner and founder of Pure Brides said: “We were all in such a state of shock and surprised when our name was announced. I genuinely thought we stood no chance at all of winning because we were up against some incredible retailers who were really well known in the industry, who we admire and aspire to be like.
“The award shows that we are formally recognised in the industry and has really raised our profile, we are absolutely thrilled to be the proud winners of the award and to be recognised for all of our hard work over the last amazing 15 years.”
The award was presented by designer David Emmanuel who famously designed Princess Diana’s wedding dress.
“We had a brilliant time at the awards and we danced the night away”, says Anna. “We also celebrated as a team and invited friends, family and other companies in the wedding industry who we have worked with to our shop for a drinks party as a way of thanking them for their support.
“We’ve got lots of ideas for how we can continue to grow and improve – to stay at the forefront of the industry and driving the future trends. Menswear is a big part of our company as well. We are all very excited for what the future holds.”
Located in the centre of Norwich along Lower Goat Lane, Pure Brides stocks Enzoani, Essence of Australia, Maggie Sotterro and Rebecca Ingram to name a few.
